Acquisition of spectra :

1 - Up to 16 separate windows each containing :

• Name
• Excitation energy (Mg-Al-other)
• Start energy
• End energy
• Step
• Dwell time
• Pass energy
• Wait time (before starting acquisition)
• Modes :
  • Continuous (oscilloscope type for adjustments)
  • Multiple acquisitions (more acquisitions can be added if desired)

2 - X-ray gun control

• The X-ray source can be stopped at the end of the acquisitions

Spectra treatments :

1 - Visualization :

• Display in increasing binding energy
• An unlimited number of spectra can be placed on screen
• Each spectrum can be zoomed in and out both in energy and in signal

2 - Treatments :

• Smoothing (Fourier Transform)
• Spike removal (automatic or manual)
• Element identification
• Base line removal (linear or Shirley)
• Satellites removal
• Peak shape comparison 
• Derivation
• Integration
• Peak fiiting (up to eight components single or double peaks)
• Peak width
• Quantification (manual or automatic)

3 - Files processing :

• Save as .txt files
• Print screen
