For ESCA :

1 - A 16 bits analog output for the energy scan 0 to Volt, either positive or negative
2 - Three 32 bits TTL or ECL counters
3 - Two relays for controlling the X-ray source and the ion gun

 

For Auger Spectroscopy :

1 - Same features as for ESCA
2 - A 14 bits analog to digital input (-10 Volt, +10 Volt) for acquiring the signal coming from the lock-in amplifier.

 

For Auger imaging :

1 - A 12 bit programable analog input for crystal current or secondary electron signal
2 - Two 16 bits analog outputs for X-Y electron gun deflection.
